History:

14th of November 2005 I, Stephen Owens, took control of the Division 3 Dudley Heathens. It was a task of which I would find very challenging and exciting. I had only been following speedway for less than a few months and had got really into it. My chance had came to take part in this game and I snapped at it.

In my first season as a promoter in Superleague Speedway and the Promoter of Dudley Heathens we did not achieve any team earned silver wear, however had youngster Matt Hayes clinch the Easter Extravaganza Title and also finishing 2nd in the Dudley Heathen Restrictor.

Stephen Owens and his Dudley side see them set a tough statistic for next season in finishing dead middle of the table in 5th place.

Stephen Owens made a Dudley record transfer fee for Coventry's Peter O Brien - 8.02 - £135,000

15th May saw the Boston Bees enter the game and said a sad goodbye to the Dudley Heathens.
